I’m Talia the founder of Kovah Naturopathy, a name beautifully created by joining the names of my two daughters, Avah and Koah. Having completed my Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy, I now practice as a clinical naturopath. I’ve also completed my corneotherapy training and have partnered with Dermaviduals, allowing me to bring a specialised focus on skin health into my practice.
Continuing my journey into the practice of skin health, I’m currently studying a postgraduate qualification in Dermal Science (Hello, future dermal therapist).
I want to continue deepening my knowledge and expanding my skills, so that I can continue to offer you more ways to support and enhance your skin health (inside and out).
My areas of clinical interest include SKIN health, women’s, children’s and adolescent health.
My background began in dental assisting, where I developed an early appreciation for the importance of oral health and the intricate relationship between the microbiome and its connection throughout the body. This ultimately led me towards my path in naturopathy, where I can bring together my love of science, nature, nutrition and natural medicine to clinically support women and children. Through naturopathy I take an inside-out approach to health, looking at the internal factors that can influence our overall wellbeing.
Following my degree, I wanted to explore my passion for SKIN health further, which led me to corneotherapy. While naturopathy looks at skin from the inside-out, corneotherapy takes an out-side in approach, focusing on the skin’s natural protective barrier, including the microbiome, acid mantle and stratum corneum. My clinical approach is grounded in evidence-informed science. It’s about looking at the bigger picture of skin health, from internal health and nutrition to the skin barrier and microbiome, when putting together your treatment plan.

Specialising in women’s and children’s health, Kovah Naturopathy provides virtual naturopathic consultations Australia-wide, making support accessible wherever you are.
Home visits are available within a 25km radius of Mclaren Vale, South Australia, for a small additional fee. For home visit enquiries please email directly at kovahnaturopathy@outlook.com with the subject- Home visit.
If further testing is required, pathology can be arranged through your local collection centre, with recommended herbs and supplements conveniently delivered to your door.

This is a 60-75minute consultation for new patients.
During this time, we will discuss:

Personal medical & family history
Environmental & social factors
Current medication & supplements
Recent pathology testing
Following your initial consultation, an individualised treatment plan will be created for you based on your clinical presentation and health goals. Where indicated, further pathology or functional testing may be recommended to provide a greater insight into underlying contributing factors. Your treatment plan and prescriptions will be emailed within 24hours of your consult.

FOLLOW-UP CONSULTATION
This 30-45minute review appointment takes place 2-4 weeks after your initial consultation. the consultation assesses your response to treatment, reviews recent pathology or functional test results, and explores your health history further where clinically indicated.
It also provides the opportunity to discuss any challenges or changes since the initial consultation, with appropriate adjustments made to your treatment plan to support your individual health goals.

ACUTE CONSULTATION (for existing patients ONLY)
This 20minute appointment is designed to provide focused support for acute or short-term health concerns, examples including colds and flu, skin flare-ups, immune support, stress and nervous system support, recovery following surgery or illness and premenstrual or menstrual symptoms.
Acute appointments may be used to prescribe approved herbal formulas suited to these concerns, or to prepare individualised herbal creams for skin or intimate discomfort.
INTEGRATIVE TESTING
Integrative testing goes beyond simply identifying symptoms - it helps uncover the underlying factors contributing to your health concerns. By combining conventional pathology with evidence-informed functional testing, we can gain a more comprehensive understanding of how your body is functioning.
Depending on your individual needs, testing may assess areas such as gut health, nutrient status, hormones, food sensitivities, metabolic health, and stress responses. These insights allow us to create personalised treatment plans that are targeted, effective, and based on your unique biochemistry rather than guesswork. Not everyone requires specialised testing.
Recommendations are made on a case-by-case basis, ensuring any investigations are clinically appropriate, relevant to your symptoms, and aligned with your health goals.
